How to convert PNG to PDF

  1. Add your PNG images

Drop them on the page or choose them from your device. You can add more at any time.

  2. Put the pages in order

Drag the thumbnails or use the arrows. Turn any page that lies on its side.

  3. Pick page size and quality

A4, US Letter or the size of each image, with or without a margin.

  4. Create the PDF

Check the size, then download the PDF or open it to look it over.

Lossless, so text stays sharp

PNG is a lossless format, and so is this conversion. The pixels are stored with the same kind of compression PNG uses, so small text, thin lines and flat colours look exactly like the original, without the fuzzy edges a JPG copy adds.

Grey images, such as scanned pages, are stored as grey, which keeps the file lighter.

Transparent PNGs

Transparency is kept in the PDF. Readers show the white page through the transparent parts, so a logo or cut-out sits cleanly on the page.

Same as image, A4 or Letter

Same as image is the default here: each page is exactly as large as its PNG, so a screenshot becomes a page with no white edges. Choose A4 or US Letter when the PDF will be printed.

Large photos saved as PNG make heavy pages. If the PDF is for email or a form with a size limit, choose Smaller file or Under a size, which save the pages as JPG.

Questions

Is PNG to PDF lossless here?

Yes, with Best quality, which is the default. The PNG pixels are stored without loss. Smaller file and size limits save JPG copies instead.

Is transparency kept?

Yes. Transparent parts stay transparent, and PDF readers show the white page behind them.

Are my images uploaded?

No. Your browser makes the PDF on your device, so the images are never sent to uncrop.si or anyone else. Once the page has loaded, it even works offline.

Can I put several PNGs in one PDF?

Yes. Each image becomes one page. Drag the thumbnails into place, or use the arrow buttons under each one. Sort by name puts files such as scan-2 before scan-10.

How big will the PDF be?

About as big as the PNG files together, because the same kind of compression is used. Choose Smaller file if size matters more than perfect pixels.

Is it free?

Yes. There is no sign-up, no watermark and no daily limit. One PDF can hold up to 200 images, and very large batches are limited only by your device memory.

Will the PDF open on any device?

Yes. It is a standard PDF with one picture per page, so every PDF reader, browser and upload form can open it.
