Contrast starts at 115%. Set it to 100% for neutral contrast, or lower it for a softer look.
Choose your crop
Drag on the preview for a custom crop. The shaded edges will be removed.
Set the pixel dimensions
Dimensions are shared with the download controls below.
Presets set the longest edge. Unlocking the ratio can stretch the image.

Give it an edge
Frames are drawn inside the output size. PNG or WebP keeps any transparent corners.
Remove a background colour
Best for plain backdrops. Connected removal starts at the picked pixel, or image corners. Use the brush for other areas.

Choose the file that fits
Use JPG or WebP quality to reduce file size. PNG is lossless. The actual file size appears after you download.
A conversion does not recover detail already lost from the source. Transparent pixels become white in JPG.

How to adjust image contrast.
- Open an image and inspect the contrast preview.
- Adjust Contrast while watching bright and dark details.
- Download a new version once the tones look right.
Separation without losing the picture.
Contrast controls the separation between lighter and darker tones. Increasing it can make a flat-looking photograph feel more defined. Reducing it softens the difference between highlights and shadows. The slider starts at 115%, with 100% representing no contrast adjustment.
A higher setting can make shadows too dark and highlights too pale. Check textured areas at both ends of the tonal range, rather than judging only the overall punch of the image. A modest adjustment often preserves more useful detail than an extreme one.
Brightness and contrast solve different problems. Brightness changes overall lightness; contrast changes tonal separation. You can combine both inside this editor, then use saturation if the colours need their own adjustment. These are browser filters, not AI enhancement or automatic scene correction.
A FEW USEFUL DETAILS
Before you download.
Will contrast sharpen a blurry photo? +
No. It may make edges appear more distinct, but it cannot recover missing focus or remove motion blur.
How do I make a softer-looking image? +
Lower Contrast below 100% and inspect the preview. The downloaded image includes the chosen adjustment.
Can I adjust brightness at the same time? +
Yes. Brightness, contrast and saturation remain available together in the editor.
