Convert WebP to JPG when a website, device or editing app requires JPG input. This page selects JPG output and an adjustable quality setting. Transparent regions from a WebP source are flattened onto white because JPG cannot keep them.
JPG export adds a lossy encoding step. Look at sharp edges, small lettering and gradients before choosing a lower quality. A high-quality export can still be larger than the original WebP, so compare the reported output size with the source rather than assuming a reduction.
The browser exports a still image, not an animated JPG. Conversion creates a separate download and leaves the WebP file intact. Keep that original if it includes transparency or animation you may need in another workflow.

Does changing .webp to .jpg convert a file? +
No. This tool decodes the image and encodes real JPG bytes for the download.
Will the animation be preserved? +
No. The editor exports the still frame decoded by the browser. JPG does not store the source WebP animation.
