How to webp to png converter.

A PNG copy with transparent pixels intact.
Export WebP to PNG when another app expects PNG, or when you want a lossless copy of the currently decoded image. Transparent WebP pixels remain transparent in the PNG output unless a solid layer has been added in the editor.
Converting from a lossy WebP source cannot recover detail that the source no longer contains. PNG avoids a new lossy export step, but a larger file is common. Its quality slider is disabled because the canvas encoder writes PNG losslessly.
An animated WebP is not exported as an animated PNG. The editor uses the still frame decoded by the browser. Keep the original animation if motion is part of what you need, and compare the saved PNG in the destination app before replacing anything.

Will transparent areas stay transparent? +
Yes, PNG supports transparency. Avoid a solid frame or other added layer if you want those areas to remain empty.
Why is my PNG much larger? +
PNG is lossless and can require more space than a lossy WebP, especially for a detailed photograph.
Can this preserve a WebP animation? +
No. This browser editor creates a still image export. Keep the original animation separately.
