Give it an edge
Frames are drawn inside the output size. PNG or WebP keeps any transparent corners.
Remove a background colour
Best for plain backdrops. Connected removal starts at the picked pixel, or image corners. Use the brush for other areas.

Choose the file that fits
Use JPG or WebP quality to reduce file size. PNG is lossless. The actual file size appears after you download.
A conversion does not recover detail already lost from the source. Transparent pixels become white in JPG.

How to round image corners.
- Open the image and inspect the rounded-corner preview.
- Adjust Rounded corners; add a border only if you want one.
- Download PNG or WebP to preserve the transparent corners.
A softer shape, the same canvas.
Rounded corners clip the four corners of a rectangular image. The canvas keeps its chosen width and height; the clipped areas become transparent when there is no solid frame covering them. This page starts with a 12% corner radius and a PNG download selected.
The radius is based on the shorter canvas edge, so it stays proportional when you resize. A small radius gives a subtle finish for a card or thumbnail, while a larger radius removes more of each corner. Check that faces, words and important details are not placed in those clipped areas.
PNG and WebP can retain the transparent corners. JPG cannot store transparency and fills them with white. If you add a coloured frame, inspect the full preview because the frame is drawn inside the output dimensions. This is rounded-rectangle clipping, not a circular avatar or a subject cutout.
A FEW USEFUL DETAILS
Before you download.
Will the output become smaller in pixels? +
No. The canvas width and height stay the same; the corner areas are clipped within it.
Why are the corners white in my JPG? +
JPG cannot store transparency. Download PNG or WebP for transparent corners.
Does this make a circular profile picture? +
No. It rounds the corners of a rectangular image. A circular mask is not currently provided.
