How to flip an image.
- Open your image; a horizontal mirror is applied.
- Choose horizontal or vertical flip, and check text or logos.
- Download your mirrored image as PNG, JPG or WebP.
Reflect the picture. Check the details.
A horizontal flip exchanges the left and right sides of a picture. It can change the direction a subject faces or correct an intentionally mirrored composition. A vertical flip exchanges the top and bottom. Neither operation adds detail or crops the edges.
This page starts with a horizontal flip selected. Pressing the same button again reverses it. You can combine horizontal and vertical flips, or use the quarter-turn rotation buttons when the image needs to be turned rather than reflected.
Letters, product labels and logos are mirrored along with the photo. Check them before publishing. If you need readable words in the final image, flip the photograph first and then add a new text overlay. The original upload is kept separate from the downloaded copy.

How is flipping different from rotating? +
A flip reflects the picture across an axis. Rotation turns it around the centre. Use the rotate tool for 90-degree orientation changes.
Will a horizontal flip make writing backwards? +
Yes. Every pixel in the photo is reflected, including writing and logos. Text added afterwards remains readable.
How do I remove the flip? +
Press Flip horizontal again, or use Reset edits to restore the original orientation.
