Create the PDF
Check the size, then download the PDF or open it to look it over.
Every common image format
JPG photos go in as they are. PNG, WebP, AVIF, GIF and BMP images are stored without loss, and animated GIFs use their first frame. HEIC photos from iPhones open only in browsers that can read them; if one will not open, convert it to JPG first, or set the iPhone camera to Most Compatible (Settings, Camera, Formats).
Phone photos of documents
Each photo becomes one page, turned the right way up using the orientation the phone saved. If a page still lies on its side, turn it with the rotate button under its thumbnail. Crop away the table around a document with our crop tool first, and the page fills the PDF.
Size for email and forms
Best quality keeps every pixel. Smaller file saves the pages at about 150 DPI on A4, plenty for reading and printing, at a fraction of the size. For a strict limit choose Under a size, or open one of the ready-made pages: under 100 KB, under 200 KB and under 500 KB.
Questions
Can I combine different image formats in one PDF?
Yes. Mix JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, GIF and BMP freely. Each image becomes one page.
How do I put the pages in order?
Drag the thumbnails into place, or use the arrow buttons under each one. Sort by name puts files such as scan-2 before scan-10.
Are my images uploaded?
No. Your browser makes the PDF on your device, so the images are never sent to uncrop.si or anyone else. Once the page has loaded, it even works offline.
Can I convert images to PDF on my phone?
Yes. Open this page in your phone browser, tap Choose images and pick photos from your gallery. The PDF is saved to your downloads.
Does the PDF include photo location or camera details?
No. Location, camera details and other hidden data in your photos are left out. Only the picture itself goes into each page.
Which page size should I choose?
A4 is the standard paper size in most of the world, and US Letter in the US and Canada. Same as image makes each page exactly as large as its picture, with no white edges, which suits screenshots and designs viewed on screen.
Is it free?
Yes. There is no sign-up, no watermark and no daily limit. One PDF can hold up to 200 images, and very large batches are limited only by your device memory.
